San Jose Police Foundation

The San Jose Police Foundation is dedicated to preventing crime, saving lives and making our community a better and safer place to live and work by assisting the San José Police Department with resources not available from the city. We are the major source of private support for the SJPD.

The Foundation was formed in 2006 at the recommendation of Chief Rob Davis. The effort to make the Foundation a reality was completed by Lt. Scott Cornfield when IRS 501(c)(3) status was granted late summer 2006. Their fundraising efforts have just begun.
